

Brenda was born in Smithers, WV, on June 8, 1949 to Benny and Mary Divita. She graduated from Montgomery High School. After high school she moved to Chicago, Illinois, where she met the love of her life. Brenda was married to Rex on July 12.1969. They were married for 54 years. They moved back to WV after they were married and started a family. Brenda was a homemaker, she volunteered at the local schools her daughters attended for many years.She loved her grandchildren more than anything.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Napier; her mom and dad, Mary and Benny Divita of Montgomery, WV; her sisters, Shirley Lowe of Chicago, Kathleen Crosby (Aaron) of Chicago, Christine Bondick (Don) of Abilene, Texas, Phyllis McNeece (Mack) of Tupelo, Mississippi: brothers, Paul Divita (Doris) from Cedar Grove, WV, Frank Divita (Jackie) of Dover, Delaware, son-in-law, James Roach Jr.
Brenda is survived by her two daughters, Christi White ( William) of Charleston WV and Jennifer Napier of Charleston, WV; her grandchildren, Alexandria Roach (Austin Meeker) ot St Albans, WV, Gabriella Roach (Taylor Weagel) of Danville, WV, James Ethan Roach of Charleston, WV, Dominic Taylor of East Bank, WV, Andrea Taylor (Trenton Adkins) of Akol, WV; her sister, Judy Goldsberry (Jim) of Madison, WV; brothers Gary Divita (Nancy), Tom Divita (Wanda) of Jacksonville, FL. She also behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
The funeral service will be held at North Charleston Apostolic Church in North Charleston, WV, on Tuesday, July 21,2026, at 12 pm with Pastor Anthony Moss officiating. Burial Will follow the funeral at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV.
A Visitation with family and friends will be held from 11am to 12 pm at the Church.
