Burma Gene Sizemore

Burma was born at Fola, West Virginia (Clay County) on May 15, 1947, to the late Jacob and Cora Ramsey Marling. She was a retired claims adjuster for WV Workers Compensation.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Sizemore Sr.; stepson, Teddy Sizemore Jr.

Burma is survived by her children, Robin (Dave) Underwood of Charleston, Patricia (Richard) Vaughn of Concord, North Carolina, John (Rose) Meadows and Robert (Tracy) Meadows, all of Charleston; step-son, Mike (Julie) Sizemore of Madison; step-daughters, Lisa (Jimmy) Fernatt of Charleston, and Karen Ryan of Ivydale; nephew, Robert (Debbie) Roupe of Fairmont; special friends whom she loved like a daughter, Lisa Wolfe; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor David Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
