Carol Yvonne Hodge

She was preceded in death by her son, Todd A. Hodge; parents, John D. and Margaret L. Jones Hodge; one brother, Wayne R. Hodge of Kerman, California; and one sister, Beverline J. Hodge of Jamaica, New York.

Carol was a member of Levi First Missionary Baptist Church Sunday School and Kitchen Committee. She was also a volunteer at the Rand Community Center and the Frank Veltri Thanksgiving Dinner for 50 years.

She was employed by the Kanawha County Board of Education until her health began to fail her.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one brother, John S. Hodge of Woodbridge, Virginia; sister-in-law, Ramona Sierras Hodge of Kerman, California; four sisters, Velma Breland of Huntington, New York, Jean Riley of Locust Grove, Virginia, Sylvia Harrell of Bluefield, West Virginia, Teri (Mark) Philpott of Athens, West Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Levi First Missionary Baptist Church, Rand, with the Rev. James Jackson officiating.

A visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the Church.
