Charles Hobart Walker Jr.

Charles was born on March 26, 1926 in Lester, WV to the late Charles Hobart Sr. & Elizabeth Mae Hall Walker. He was a Christian and a member of the Woodbine Freewill Baptist Church in Nashville, TN. He was also an Insurance Salesman & retired employee of Sears and a US Army Veteran.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by daughter, Cheryl Lynn Walker; brothers, Sidney Paul, Bobby F. and Arnis L. Walker; sister, Reba Merglewski; sisters-in-law, Agnes M. Walker & Kathaleen Holstine.

Charles is survived by his wife, Rachel Brown Walker; sisters-in-law, Phyllis & Barbara Walker of Michigan; Princess Bartley & Olive Tuttle of Charleston; brother-in-law, Adam (Helen) Brown of Wadsworth, OH; nieces, Sandra Walker, Kathy O’Daniel; Rebecca Kessel, Carol Robinson & Rachel Brown and many other nieces & nephews.

A visitation with family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Monday January 22, 2018 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday January 23, 2018 also at the funeral home with Pastor Kenny Sams officiating. Entombment with military rites will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
