She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mabel Slater; brothers, Jodi and Allen Slater. She attended Rensford Missionary Baptist Church and served God for many years.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Robert Elliott; sons, Robert Jr. (Paula), Gregory (Cheryl) and David (Tammy), all of Charleston; seven grandchildren, Kaleb, Justin, Hayden, Tiara, Jody, Megan and Jacob whom she treasured; one great-grandson, Mason Burdette, who was so precious to her; and sisters, Susan Walker of Sissonville and Victoria Rhodes of Charleston.
Cremation has been honored and a memorial service will be held at a later date at the Church she attended.
