He attended Riverview Gospel Tabernacle, was a former employee with Papa John's Pizza in Kanawha City and also formerly worked with 17 years of service for CAMC General Hospital and Gunnoe's Sausage.
Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Daniel M. Schultz Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Dollie Schultz; and maternal grandparents, Larry and Alverta Thompson.
He is survived by his mother, Rosetta Schultz and sister, Carolyn Watts, both of Charleston; nieces, Jennifer Beltran of Florida and Marissa Easley of Charleston; and great-nephew, Jin Ryu Beltran of Florida.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2018, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor Larry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston.
A visitation with family and friends will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the Funeral Home.
