Delores Virginia "Jenny" Wilson

Jenny was born in Charleston on March 6, 1927, to the late Robert E. and Mary Jones Goff. She was an LPN and a lifelong member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. Jenny was very active in her community and served on the ladies auxiliary of the Rand Volunteer Fire Department and a Girl Scout Leader.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jess “Guy” Wilson Jr.; grandsons, Jess and Seth Wilson.

Jenny is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Debra) Wilson of DuPont City; daughters, Rebecca (Robert White) Wilson of Rand and Marilyn (Tom) Zimmerman of Belle; grandchildren, Austin (Kaylyn) Wilson, Erica (Joel) Mullins, Paige (Brian) Moffitt, Travis (Andrea) Zimmerman and Mark (Jill) Zimmerman; and many other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor William Kincaid officiating. Entombment will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
