Earl Ray Gunno

He was born on February 15, 1944 in Charleston to the late Ophia and Mildred Withrow Gunno.

Earl was a retired Captain with 27 years of service for the Charleston Fire Department. He was a devoted husband, father and family man. He had a love of rebuilding old cars and fishing.

Along with his parents, his sister, Sarah Schmidt, and brother, Ronald Gunno, also preceded him in death.

Earl is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Reva Matheny Gunno; daughter, Elizabeth (Tom) Skiles of Charleston; sister, Judy (David) Patrick of Poca; grandchildren, Kaleigh Skiles (Cory) Hill of Gulfport, Mississippi and Kerrie Skiles of Charleston; and great-grandchildren, Bryce and Wesley Hill.

The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2018, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor Randy Ledsome officiating. The burial will follow the service at Gunno Cemetery, Charleston.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
