

Earl Williams, born March 10, 1949 in Notomine, WV to the late Hughie and Effie Williams, reunited with his parents on April 3, 2022 after passing at Hubbard Hospice House surrounded by his loved ones.
He graduated from East Bank High School in 1967. He then proudly served his country as a United States Marine and fought in the Vietnam War. Upon returning home, he worked as an underground Coal Miner/Electrician for Carbon Fuel Coal Company and spent many years in the Coal Mines before retiring. Earl was a Christian and a member of Newton Baptist Church for many years.
Three brothers precede him in death.
Surviving are his wife, Rose; daughters, Melissa “Lisa” (Matt) Taylor and Angela Williams; grandchildren, Dustin (Cassie), Tyler, Colten (Brittney) and Cierra Williams; great-grandchildren, Allison, Easton, Bentley and Camden Williams; and one sister.
Funeral services will be 11:00am, Saturday April 9, 2022 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Ron Fisher and Darius Walker officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
