Evelyn Cook Jordan Meadows, 95, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Oakridge Center, Charleston. She was preceded in death by parents, AJ and Mamie Cook; 10 siblings; and husbands, James Jordan and William Meadows. Although Evelyn never had children of her own, she was “Mother” to many. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. There will be a time of visitation on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, from noon to 1:00 p.m. at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden. The funeral procession will leave at 1:00 p.m. for Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville, for a committal service conducted by Celebrant, HR Whittington.
