She was a member of Queen Shoals FG Community Church, Pastor Clark Samples Jr.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ira Gibson Jr., Mother, Betty Louise Gibson; brothers, Steven Edward Gibson and Denver Woodrow Gibson Jr.

Survived by are her children, Christina (Rob) Graham of Parkersburg, John Murphy of Charleston, Betty JoAnn Genger of Parkersburg; sisters, Deborah (Ernest) Johnson of Bomont, Barbara (Kenneth) Hughart of Marmet, Kathy (Kitty) Stewart of Parkersburg; brothers, Ronnie Gibson of Marmet, Michael Gibson of Monroe, MI., Martin (Loretta) Gibson of Parkersburg, Rick Barlow of South Charleston; grandchildren that she loved and held dearly in her heart, Daniel Facemyre, Deborah, James and Seth Nutter; Sandra, Jayda and Brianna Murphy; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a walk through visitation for friends and extended family from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at the Lens Creek Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow at Marmet Memorial Gardens, Marmet.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is mandated by the Governor and the CDC that proper facial coverings be worn and that social distancing be observed.
