Fred was born in Charleston on October 7, 1949 to the late Clifford Lee and Lillian Long Williams. He was a retired Security Guard; he attended the Baptist Church and was a US Army Vietnam Veteran.
Fred is survived by his daughter, Jenny (Shane) Fortenberry of Georgia; and another child; grandchildren, Devin, Kourtney, Caitlin; great grandchildren, Kensley, Preslee, Olivia and Sutton; brothers, Clifford Williams Jr of Tennessee, Paul Williams of Arizona, Gary and Patrick Williams both of West Virginia.
A Military Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday November 4, 2024 at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar with Rev. Robert Williams officiating.
