Greta Skiles

She was born in Charleston on June 27, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Roy and Argie Bostic. Along with her parents, Greta was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Skiles.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Vickie) of Troutville, Virginia, and Timothy (Terry) of Winfield, West Virginia; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Greta is a member of Covenant Church Presbyterian PCA, and past member of Coal Fork and Morris Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a 1952 graduate from DuPont High School and retired from Kanawha County Schools where she worked as a librarian, and reading aid.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Rev. Josh Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
