Mr Harvey Clendenin was a honorable brother within the Smith Trucking Company of co-worker / drivers family .

Helpful to all that traveled the highways and byways .,especially travelers with automobile troubles broke down on the roads .

Great sense of humor that kept up the spirits for all

So RIP Harvey , And the prophet Job as stated --

---Job 14 --10 / 13 (KJV)

10-----But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?

11.........As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:

12.........So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.

13 .......O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!

Always stopped to talk to Harvey whenever I saw him out in garage, or cutting grass. Had to get the latest news as to what’s going on.
A great friend who will be missed.
We are out of town an unable to attend services, but will be there in thoughts and prayers

Wanda- I'm so very sorry for your loss. You were both quick to make me welcome at Big Bottom Missionary Baptist Church and I always loved to hear Harvey's testimony. I am so glad I was able to see him and hug his neck one last time back in the fall. He will forever be in my memories and you and your family are in my prayers. Sending much love... Marcy

We were blessed to have met Harvey and Wanda when we attended Steve's induction into the Hall of Fame. The Clendenin's were the most gracious hosts and we greatly enjoyed our time with them. Harvey had a wry sense of humor and we had fun talking and porch sitting with him.
Our condolences go out to the whole Clendenin family.

Harvey was a wonderful witness for Christ and was so instrumental in helping us when we were just young Christians. We will miss all the conversations we had with him over the years. Love and prayers to all of the family and church family. We love you all.
