Jeanne Louyse Robinson was born January 21, 1947 in Charleston, WV to the late Robert and Barbara Taylor Robinson. God called Jeanne home on Thursday May 31, 2018 in Charleston, WV.

Jeanne was a member of the Levi First Missionary Baptist Church, Senior Usher Board, Corresponding Secretary of the Levi Sunday School, Former Vacation Bible School Director, former Sunday School Teacher, and currently was Mission Project Leader of the Levi Discipleship Sunday School Class.

Jeanne graduated from DuPont High School in 1964. She was a C & P Telephone Company retiree with 25 years of service and was a Pioneer.

Jeanne was a generous and giving person, always seeking those who had needs and meeting those needs.

Jeanne leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Christopher and wife Cher, grandchildren (my friends) Christian Alexander and Morgan Taylor Robinson of Boca Raton, FL.; sister, Mary of Charleston; brother, William and wife Andrea Robinson of Cross Lanes; nephews, Bruce Purnell; aunt, Mrs. Carol (James) Isaac of Washington, DC; close friends, Vanessa Singleton, Pat Cardwell, Vickie Estep and Linda Eggleton and a great hose of relatives and friends especially the children of the Levi Sunday School.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert (Beeps) Robinson.

The family will receive friends for a Celebration Home Going Wake at 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Wednesday June 6, 2018 at Levi First Missionary Baptist Church followed immediately by a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston officiated by Pastor James C. Jackson Sr.

Mary, Chris, Billy, So sorry we weren't able to attend Jeanne's service today. Please accept our condolences and prayers that God's comfort and love will sustain you in this sad time. We will always remember Jeanne's beautiful smile, the pink blanket she crocheted for Tori, and how thrilled she was to have held her as a newborn! There is nothing we could say to ease your loss, but we pray God's blessings follow you always.

My prayers are with the family. Though I only spent a few hours with Jeanne last year when I came there with Marsha. I had a memorable time with her and Maryann shopping. She had such a pleasant disposition. She will surely be missed. May God bless and keep the family.

My Deepest Condolence to the Robinson Family. I have known Jeanne since I was a little girl. Jeanne worked with my grandmother Virginia Byrd at C&P Telephone Company. Jeanne was always so nice and had a great smile and laugh. Prayers and Thoughts for Jeanne's Family and Friends.

I was fortunate to know and work with Jeanne in the Business Office at Bell Atlantic. She was a beautiful person...inside and out! I am sorry that this world is losing Jeanne and that I haven't seen her in so many years.
Billy, I hope you and your family are doing well.
I have lived in Philippi, WV for the last 10 years and have missed seeing so many.
God just received an angel. I wish there was something I could say that would help during this time, but I'm at a loss for words.

I am so sorry to hear of my former coworker and friend passing. What an absolutely unforgettable person. After searching to reconnect with her for several years I was able to find her and let her know that her "cash unit" friends from the 60's and early 70's had not forgotten this beautiful lady. RIP My sweet friend 💔

Mary, so sorry I cannot be there. I will miss her smiling face and the times we had working together. I will never forget her telling me that when she needed to eat something sweet, she would get a package of cookies and climb into her bed and set there and eat them because she knew she would get sleepy. God will strengthen, encourage and comfort you as only he can during this trying time.
