Jose was born to the late Jesus Lopez Lopez and Aurelia Garcia Velasquez on September 21, 1939 in Degollado, Jalisco, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years. He was the seventh born out of eleven children. Jose leaves behind eight children, twenty-one grandchildren, and one great grandson, all of whom he loved very much.
Visitation with family and friends will be from 7:00-9:00 pm at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden on Tuesday, November 19 with a vigil beginning at 8:00 pm.
Mass will be 11:00 am Wednesday, November 20 at Saint Agnes Catholic Church, 4807 Staunton Ave., Kanawha City with Father Jose Manuel Escalante officiating.
