Judith Ann Sarrett

Judith “Judy” A. Sarrett of Lexington, KY passed away on December 27, 2015 at home after a long illness. She was born in Ashland KY on August 29, 1941. Judy lived the majority of her life in Charleston, WV and was preceded in death by her father Harry Jack Maddix and Mother Ruth Maddix. She was a Member of Porter Memorial Baptist Church in Lexington and former member of Big Bottom Missionary Baptist Church in Tad, WV. Judy is survived by her husband of 58 years Larry Lee Sarrett of Lexington, KY, Sons; Gregory Sarrett and his wife Terri of Elkview, WV, Jeffrey Sarrett and his wife Jill of Teays Valley, WV, Brian Sarrett and his wife Lisa of Lexington, KY. She is also survived by Sisters; Shelia Stewart of Bolt, WV and Virginia Jo Wills of Glen Daniel, WV, 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Friends may attend Visitation on Thursday December 31, 2015 at Big Bottom Missionary Baptist Church in Tad, WV from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and the funeral will be performed by the Rev. Fred Christian and Rev. Raymond Cobb following visitation at 1:00 PM. The burial will follow the service at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney. Stevens & Grass Funeral Home in Malden, WV will be in charge of arrangements.
