

She was a long-time resident of Campbells Creek who enjoyed gardening (or as she called it “Dirt Therapy”), any chance she got. June was a member of the Charleston Moose Lodge #1444 and loved spending time with her family and friends.
June was preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” and Hazel Laing; brother, William “Bill” Laing Jr; and sister, Betty Ruch.
Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Gary Burke; daughter, Deena Jones; step-children, Stacy (Dwayne) Floyd, Michael Burke and Tara (Mark) Tinsley; grandchildren, Whitney Jones, Jackie Floyd, Trevor (Vicktoria) Floyd, Jessica Floyd, Nicholas (Emily) Floyd, Tori Floyd, Isabella Burke, Brynlee Burke, Taylor (Molly) Stevens, Bryan Priddy, Dakota (Alyssah) Tinsley, Katelynn Tinsley; and eight great-grandchildren; and her beloved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank June’s caregivers at Complete Care at Oak Ridge Nursing Home. With special thanks to Stephanie, Nikki, and Erica for the great care and for looking in on her when she wasn’t their patient.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Rev. Dana Clay officiating. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park, London.
A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday.
