Karen Sue Kessel Price

She was born in Ward on January 17, 1955, to the late Hancil M. and Fredia L. Cobb Kessel.

Karen was a homemaker and loved to do crafts, painting and going on trips especially cruises. She attended Farrar Memorial Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Ron Price; sons, Ronnie (Heather) Price Jr. of Glasgow and Brian Price of Charleston; brothers, Wayne (Chris) Kessel and Buddy Kessel, all of Charleston; special niece, Cindy McIntyre; grandchildren and the loves of her life, Grant Morgan Easter, Andrew Preston Easter and Timothy Wayne McIntyre; special aunts, Roberta Hughes of East Bank, Wilma Harrison of Cedar Grove, Donna Whited of Utah, Dottie Couick-Newman of Virginia and Linda Paruscio of North Carolina; best friend of 40 years, Phyllis Nelson; and several other nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. Jack Tucker and the Rev. Eddie Withrow officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.

Family and friends will gather for the visitation on Friday, October 21st, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
