Les was born in Charleston on July 29, 1981, to Susan Hope Smith and the late Michael Bumgarner.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley and Sam Hope; and uncle, Sam Hope II.
He is survived by his son, Cameron Bumgarner; mother and stepdad, Susan and Dean Smith; sister, Katie and Bente Simerman; niece and nephew, Annalise and Xander Simerman; step brother, Corey Smith; uncle, Mark and Lorey Grounds; and aunts, Fonda Hope and Georgia Schatzman.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor David Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
