

Ed was born at Eight Mile on March 16, 1945 to the late Clarence Frazier and Olie August Martin Peck. He was retired from Valley Camp Coal Company, a member of the UMWA and previously worked for Bartlett’s Tree Service. Ed loved the outdoors was an avid coon hunter.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and seven sisters.
Ed is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Vickie Peck; daughter, Valarie Loraine (John) Waldron of St. Albans; son, Timothy “Mike” (Tori) Ratliff of Campbells Creek; granddaughter, Hannah Jean (Joshua) Baisden; great-grandson, Asher Scott “Grasshopper” Baisden; sisters, Dollie Mason of Long Beach, CA., Francis Killion of Knoxville, TN., Barbara Nickison of Clay, Esta Fields of Dunbar and Deulah Stevenson of Clay; brothers, Douglas and Charles Peck of Campbells Creek and Marlin Gary Peck of Grantsville and Donald Peck of Montgomery. He is also survived by his best friend and pet, Angel and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Ed’s request for cremation has been honored and a Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016, at Rensford Missionary Baptist Church on Point Lick Drive, Campbells Creek, with the Rev. Edward Jarrett officiating.
A time of visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church.
