Lillian Carroll Summers, 73, of Marmet, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014, at Cedar Ridge Center. She was born on October 13, 1940 in Madison to the late Howard and Ruby Adkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy V. Summers; and brother, Bobby Dale Cantrell. Lillian was a member of Marmet Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her sons, Roy Lee Summers of Ashford and Johnie Virgil Summers of Marmet; step-mother, Madeline Atkins of Tennessee; brothers, Junior Cantrell of Gary, Indiana, and Marvin Atkins of Maryland; sisters-in-law, Dolly Cantrell of Twilight and Lynn Pugh of Marmet; grandchildren, Lee Summers, Brittany Mooney, Stephanie King and Matthew Summers; and great-grandchildren, Easton Mooney and Victoria Summers. The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden. The burial will follow the service in Drawdy Cemetery, Peytona.
