Lou C. Jarrell Kemp

Lou C. Kemp, 54 of St. Albans passed away on May 5, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sydney and Beulah Proctor Jarrell; Husband, Larry Kemp; one granddaughter, Kandice Smith; sisters, Anna Sheets and Ruby Bravo. She was a faithful member of the Word of God Center Church. She worked in the Payroll Department at Mount Olive Correctional center for 15 years. Lou is survived by her Daughter, Jessica (William) Smith of St. Albans; grandson, William Smith and granddaughter, Angelica Smith both of St. Albans; sisters, Betsy Brown of Gallagher, Sally Stevens of Rand, Martha Jarrell of Goshen, IN.; brothers, Johnnie Jarrell of Spencer, Lonnie Jarrell of Deepwater; special nieces, Cindy Campbell of York, SC and Fonda Butler of Looneyville; She will be greatly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family. Funeral Services will be held Monday May 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Rev. Clayton Stevens Jr. & Elder Arthur Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Witcher Cemetery, Witcher. A visitation with Family & Friends will be held Sunday May 8 from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family.
