Lynda Diane Withrow

Lynda enjoyed spending time with her family, cook outs, shopping, motorcycle riding and boating along the Kanawha River and Summersville Lake. She attended DuPont High School and received her GED from Garnet Career Center.

Lynda was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ike and Macel Light of Campbells Creek; maternal grandparents, Monk and Della Hackney of Campbells Creek; father, Jackie Light and brother, Richard Light from Campbells Creek as well.

She is survived by her life partner, Robert Garten of Charleston; daughter, Mendi (Adam) Proctor of Charleston; mother, Billie Light of Campbells Creek; brother, Christopher Light (Pooh) of Campbells Creek; sister, Lisa (Gary) Diveley of Charleston; grand daughter, Brianna Proctor of Charleston; great granddaughter Alahni; and niece, Skylar.

Lynda’s wishes were honored as she requested to be cremated. There will be a memorial service in her honor at a later date to be announced.
