Margaret Ann Robinson

Margaret was a devoted Christian and attended Spring Fork Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.

Born in Charleston on January 13, 1940, Margaret was the daughter of the late Hugh and Hazel McCown Spurlock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Richard Robinson; her sisters, Clara Mae Spurlock, Deloris Faye Spurlock, Mildred Jean Hill, and Eula Dent; her brothers, George "Butch" Spurlock and Darrell Spurlock; and her grandson, Mark Anthony Robinson II.

Margaret is survived by her sons, Richard (Elaine), Randy (Angie), and Mark (Julie); sisters, Ellen Carter and Judy (Dave) Hartsaw; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and dear friends.

A Graveside Funeral Service for close family and friends will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Robinson Cemetery, Charleston with Pastor Mike Long officiating. Burial will follow the service.
