Marguerite Lorraine Jenkins Scraggs

Marguerite Lorraine Scraggs of Belle spent her last moments here on earth Wednesday, March 9, 2016 with her loved ones by her side. She was born July 27, 1949 in Paint Creek to the late John & Marguerite Jenkins. Time stood still as she peacefully went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ, Husband Jackie Scraggs, 4 brothers Roger, James, Johnny, and Harry Jenkins and Son Roger Lycans Jr. Left to cherish her memories are her children: Wanda (Darren) Gore of Belle, Missy (Kenny) Canaday of Kanawha City, Nancy (Derek) Perdue of Cabin Creek, and Jimmy (Kim) of Campbell's Creek. Grandchildren: Staci Gore, Patrick Ingram, Chelsea Lucas, Megan Wheeler, Chad, Alex, & Amy Lycans, Roger & Dustin Lycans, and Angie Powers. 6 great grandchildren with one on the way. Brother Phillip Jenkins of SC & a dear friend Ann Crawford of Belle. Ms. Marguerite was a coal miner’s daughter and took great pride in that. She was a very sweet, loving, and strong mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She had enough love to go around for everyone. She loved and took care of her fur babies Molly, Ms. Kitty, Nibbler, & Harry. She fed every stray that showed up on her porch! Although she is gone she will forever remain in our hearts and continue to watch over us. Service will be 1:00pm Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in the Chapel at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow with Pastor Rocky Wills. Gather around as we put her to rest.
