Mildred Selbe Selbe Woods

On August 17, 2014, our beloved mother, Mildred Selbe Woods of Tad, left this earth to be reunited with her late husband, Gene Woods. Born May 10, 1932, at Putney to the late Jesse and Elva Selbe. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Anderson; and brothers, Paul, Henry and Dick Selbe. Left to mourn but to cherish many precious memories are her sons, Wetzel (Drema) Woods and Jimmy Woods; her daughter, Judy Stout, all of Charleston; grandchildren, Scott Woods, Jaime Carpenter, Brian Moles and Thomas Stout; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna Johnson of Chesapeake, and Ruth Henley of Twinsburg, Ohio; her life-long friend, Genevieve Selbe; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor Kevin Walker officiating. The burial will follow the service in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Family and friends will gather for the visitation one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to express their appreciation for all the loving care she received during her stay at the Cedar Ridge Nursing Home.
