Nancy was born in Charleston on February 15, 1955, to Joseph “Pete” and Betty Meadows Hanson. She loved to hunt and fish and go camping with her dad; she loved to go and watch pro wrestling matches at the Charleston Coliseum, and she was a member of Southeast Church of the Nazarene.
Along with her parents, Nancy is survived by sisters, Karen (Giles) Lagace of Outer Banks, NC and Hannah Tillis of Charleston; brothers, Joseph Hanson III and Kelley James Hanson both of Charleston; and a special niece, Crystal (Eric) Loudermilk of North Charleston.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday August 25, 2026, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Rev. Dr. Mervin Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
