I remember the days when I was between 4 and 5 and staying with Nina and Bill on Rutledge. I pass there almost every day going home and have very fond memories. My deepest heart felt condolences for the family. Nina was like my second mom at the time and I wish I had kept in touch. May God bless each and everyone during this time of need.

Tommy, Timmy, and Tammy, I know you are heartbroken today over the loss of your wonderful mother. Nina and I have been friends and neighbors for many years, as we raised our children in a loving and closeknit community. I remember many times when she “had my back” as our children played in the neighborhood. If I didn’t have my eyes on my children, I knew she did. She was always kind and good to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Our family is very sad today. Love and hugs to all of your family.

I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE WONDER TRIPS TO WASHINGTON,DC WITH YOUR MOTHER AS ONE OF MY CHAPERONES. SHE WAS A DELIGHT TO HAVE ON THE TRIP AND ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HER FACE. SHE WAS A JOY TO WORK WITH AT VALLEY GROVE AS WELL.
I REMEMBER NINA FROM HOMEROOM MOTHER IN THE 70'S UNTIL I RETIRED AND SHE ALWAYS LOVED THE KIDS!!!!!

Nina and Bill and their kids were our neighbors. Growing up we would play in their yard with all the kids in the neighborhood. They were sweet and kindly people. I wish Tommy, Timmy and Tammy my heartfelt condolences.

I am so sad to hear of Nina’s passing. I worked with Nina at Ruffner. She was a kind, sweeet, gentle woman. She ALWAYS had a smile and a kind word. She loved the children and was a wonderful ”grandma” to so many of them. I enjoyed looking at all the special photos posted. What sweet memories of an amazing lady. Praying for peace and comfort for Nina’s family.
