Nora Elizabeth Smith

Born October 9, 1924, she was the daughter of Charles and Freida Sword.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Smith; son Jesse; grandson, Calvin "Boo" Smith; and brothers, Chinnie, Elmer, Leslie and Tom Sword.

She will be missed by her daughter, Mary and son-in-law, Gary Stewart; son, Bill and daughter-in-law, Billie; grandchildren, Kim Stewart Priddy and husband, Fred, Carrie Smith and Charles Smith; great-grandchildren, Logan and Jessica Priddy; sister, Shelvia Wentz; and brother, Everett Sword.

The funeral service will be held Noon Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. John Sword officiating. The burial will follow the service at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Family and friends will gather for the visitation one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, West Virginia 25311.
