Pauline Brown, 90, of Campbells Creek, went home to be with the Lord on November 8, 2018. She was born March 21, 1928 in Bates County, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin; parents, Everett and Anna Sutherland; sister, Lou Emma; and brothers, Eugene and Allen; also a son, Charles, in 1956. Pauline is survived by her children, Ray (Judy), Keith (Sheila), Wendell (Debbie), Tonya (Rick), Tim (Lori) and Tammy (Keith); seventeen grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Laverne of Michigan and her brother, Robert of Oklahoma. The most important thing to Mom was her family. She said next to God, her children was most important to her. Even in her last days she was often heard praying for her children. She was an awesome baker. Mostly every day the aroma of freshly baked goods would greet us when we arrived home from school. She enjoyed quilting, working in her yard and she loved humming birds and blue birds. Proverbs 31:10, Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies; Proverbs 31:28, Her children arise up and call her blessed; Proverbs 31:30, But a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. The funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2018, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor Jack Tucker and Pastor Tim Martin officiating. The burial will follow the service at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. A visitation with family and friends will be one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

Ray, Keith, Wendell, Tonya, Timmy, and Tammy,

My thoughts and prayers are with you all! I share your feeling of loss and am wishing I had taken the time to visit with Pauline through the years. Too often, life diverts our attention from the people we cherished as children and who were instrumental in shaping us into the adults we became. Pauline was incredibly good and kind, and will always be a sweet, sweet memory. What an incredible gift she was to this world!

Love,
Kathy

My condolences my dear cousins! I loved her very much! Cindy, Bridgette and I were talking about the party going on in heaven. Daddy was there with the rest to welcome her and I believe they haven't stopped dancing, running, jumping, laughing, singing and praising! I'm sorry I can't be there with you Tuesday. I'm attaching a photo. It doesn't include all your family but it's one of my favorites. I love you guys!
