

Bob was born in Charleston on September 14, 1952, to the late Robert Dale Sr. (Pappy) and Grace Martin Harmon. He was a retired Coal Miner; a carpenter; and a lifelong member of the Chesapeake Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Bobby spent many years on a softball field, somewhere. He loved riding motorcycles, especially his Harley and was a member of the Lone Riders Motorcycle Club.
Bob is survived by his sons, Mark Harmon (Shelly) and Bobby Harmon (Shannon) all of Chesapeake, Billy Nunn (Ashley) of Belle; sister, Darlene Harmon of Chesapeake; brothers, Marty (Debra) Harmon of South Charleston and Jimmy (Tina) Harmon of Belle; a grandfather and great-grandfather too many; also loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Chesapeake Volunteer Fire Department with Pastor Bill Jones officiating.
A time of visitation with family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service at the fire department with a dinner immediately following the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to G & H Memorial Park, c/o Mark Harmon, 12215 Venable Avenue, Chesapeake, West Virginia 25315.
