Shirley Faye Rowe

Shirley was born in Mobile, Alabama, on September 7, 1948, to the late Charles Jefferson and Maxine Carpenter Wells. She was a 1966 graduate of DuPont High School and Center College in Charleston. She retired from BB& T (TRUIST) and WV Department of Motor Vehicles as an Information Services Assistant.

Along with her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Nate Rowe, and a son, Jefferson Shaffer.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Jeffra Morris (John David Pettry) of Malden; granddaughters, Kenzie Morris of Auburn, Alabama, and Natalie Rogers of Malden; great-granddaughter, Kalanie Morris of Auburn, Alabama.

Please join the family to honor and celebrate Shirley’s life from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden. After the celebration, the family invites everyone to Shirley’s home for refreshments.

In keeping with Shirley’s request, cremation has been honored.
