Stanley "Bubby" Lawrence Landers

Stanley Lawrence “Bubby” Landers, 60 of Campbell’s Creek, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Thursday September 14, 2023 following a long illness. He passed away peacefully at CAMC Memorial Hospital with his family and friends by his side.

Bubby loved to hunt and fish and he loved spending time with his friends and family. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Bubby was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Oley and Mertha Landers of Campbell’s Creek; maternal grandmother Norma Crowder of Campbell’s Creek.

He is survived by his parents, Stanley and Shirley Landers of Campbell’s Creek; daughter, Tabitha Johnson of Rand; two grandchildren, Izabella Johnson and Kaidance Knight; seven siblings, Norlene Johnson (Lenny) and Rebecca Landers (Neal) all of Campbell’s Creek, Lea Ann Landers of South Charleston, Joey Landers (Lisa) of Campbell’s Creek, Ramona Hughart (Tee Spurlock) of Malden, Clint Landers of Big Chimney and Jessica Stone (Jamie) of Campbell’s Creek; and a host of nieces and nephews and his faithful companion, his dog Rocky.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday September 18, 2023 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Rev. Larry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at the Landers-Elswick Cemetery, Cinco.

A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
