Vaughan Guy Bryant, 52, of Malden, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014. He was born in Charleston on January 12, 1962, a son of the late Ray and Stella Bryant. Guy was a truck driver for FTL Trucking. He was of the apostolic faith and was baptized in October of 2004. He is survived by his wife, Linda Bryant; daughters, Frances Louise Deyton of Greenville, TN and Angela Maria Rae Bryant of Knott County, KY; sons, Bryan Guy Bryant of Charleston, Shane Edward Corgnell of Kellys Creek, Kevin Ray and Corby Allen Bryant of Malden; sister, Cindy Elswick of Malden; brothers, Ray and Danny Bryant of Malden, and Roger Bryant of Beckley; and 17 grandchildren who he loved and cherished. A visitation with family and friends will be held 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with a memorial service to be held at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. Isaac Withrow officiating. Following the services, at Guy’s request, his body will be cremated.
