Vicki Lynn Lanham, born May 10, 1952, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2014, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lanham; her father, Gene Toney; her mother, Patricia Buckner Toney; her uncle, R. "Bobby" Buckner; and her grandparents. She is survived by her uncle, Larry Jake Buckner and wife, Carol; aunt, Linda Gay and husband, Paul, all of Charleston; and extended family members. Vicki was a graduate of DuPont High School. She was a cosmetologist in Charleston until she worked for the State of West Virginia. Currently she was employed at Brickstreet Insurance Company. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the 3rd floor nursing staff at Women & Children’s Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion for Vicki. At Vicki’s request, there will be a private burial in Burdette Cemetery, Middle Fork Road, Jackson County. In honor of her love for animals, please make donations to Kanawha Charleston Humane Association Animal Shelter, 1248 Greenbrier Street, Charleston, West Virginia 25311.
