Born March 4, 1998, Zerique was a beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend whose strength, humor, and devotion to family and friends especially childhood friends touched everyone he met.
He was the loving son of Robert Hardy Jr. and Connie Hardy and the devoted grandson of Juanita Davis. Zerique was a 2016 graduate of Riverside High School, a baptized member of Community Missionary Baptist Church, and could be seen on the track and field with the Capital City Striders. Zerique was a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan and would challenge anyone who wasn’t. Zerique took his role as uncle very seriously from a young age and one of his favorite pass times was taking his nieces and nephews to Summersville Lake. Family was everything to Zerique—he rarely missed a family function, and even late, he always arrived full of love. He was also a devoted son and hands-on caregiver to his parents.
Zerique is survived by Prince his beloved Black German Shepherd; his siblings, Kevin (Renee) Hardy, Kathy Davis, Jonathan Chic, Richard Davis, Ciara (Verquan) Kimbrough, Katrina Hardy, and John Hardy; aunts and uncles, Lamar Hill, Jerry (Sharon) Hardy, and Carolyn (Curtis) Vincent; a host of nieces and nephews who adored him, Jerricka Davis, Caleb (Haley) Hardy, Joshua (Isabella) Hardy, Ponice Robinson, Arell Hardy, Jaykala Chic, Trinity Davis, Destiny Robinson, Janique Chic, Eljin Carela,Jateayah Davis, Shannon Winrow, L’Reiah Winrow, TaeJohn Hardy, Jaiana Chic, Myziah Davis, M’ki Smith, Javier Chic, Kinsley Kimbrough, Symphanie Green, Dasani Davis, and Kasen Kimbrough.
