Wanamaker and the best Grammie to Kathryn Alexis and Addison Grace who she loved bunches. She was a beloved aunt, cousin and friend to many. Sister to Robert Sangster of California,

Alexis loved to garden and plant flowers from spring to fall; she cared for many pets, ducklings, ducks, turtles, and other wild animals her entire life. She loved reading books, feeding her ducks, being with family especially on Christmas, doing jigsaw puzzles, going to the beach, crabbing, donating to worthy causes, cooking and baking especially with her granddaughters.

Alexis worked for the Millburn Township public schools before retiring and moving to Cedar Run. She was a disappointed New York JETS fan and was always yelling in the stands or at the TV like the rest of her family. Alexis was the best wife, mom, Grammie, aunt and friend anyone could ever ask for, she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Lexi and I have been friends from Millburn since I was 11 years old. We both worked at the Board of Ed in Millburn for many years. We stayed in touch with phone calls after she and Jim moved to the shore. We never missed each others Birthdays for all those years.
Lexi may you rest in peace, I will always be thinking of you.

I have so many wonderful memories of Lexy but the quality that always stood out most was her smile, robust laughter and love of nature, especially for dogs, cats and ducks. My deepest condolences to the family on her loss.

Lexi is my cousin, and although we did not get to see each other often she was such a special person and will always have a place in my heart. Heaven gained another angel and I pray the memories her friends and family have with her will give them great comfort over the next couple of months and years. Love You, Nancy Rupe Fitzgibbon

I was blessed to have Alexis in my life. She accepted me in her house and family throughout my life from a child to an adult with my own family. Her warmth, generosity and creativity made you feel at home and welcome no longer how long the years had passed in between our last time together. My condolences to Jim, the boys Jeffrey and Jim, and the rest the family.

When I first met Lexi was in 7 grade. We became instant friends. We had so much in common. Through the years we shared much laughter and silliness.Frank and I introduced Lexi to Jim and they became instant lovebirds. They complimented one another. Frank and Jim are best friends from West Orang, NJ. We went on many double dates together. Lexi was beautiful inside and out. She would radiate kindness, love, generosity towards others. She loved her garden and grew many beautiful flowers. My condolences to you Jim and your beautiful family. Rest In Peace my dear friend. Until we meet again.
