

Hall was born in St. Paul Minnesota to the late Daisy Lett and Alvah H. Warren, II and raised in Pittsburgh, PA.
Hall graduated from Shady Side Academy, Pittsburgh,PA
and Williams College ,Williamstown, MA with a B.A. degree in American History and Literature. He Received a M.A. Degree in American and African History from San Francisco State University.
Hall taught American History at Webb School, Claremont, CA .and American History and American Literature at the Westridge School, Pasedena, CA.
Following his teaching career Hall pursued his love of travel and circled the globe on three different trips. In addition to being a Free Lance Writer in Carmel, he was a Travel Tour Guide, a Real Estate Agent and an Outdoor enthusiast.
Hall volunteered as a Docent at Point Lobos State Natural Reserve in Carmel and also volunteered at the Monterey History and Art Association.
Hall Warren and Eileen Kirby were longtime California residents and moved to New Jersey in 2011 to be closer to their families.
Hall is survived by Eileen Kirby, his companion of 30 years. His niece, Leatrice D.Elliman, of Montchanin, DE and his nephews, Warren H. Dean, of Colorado Springs, CO and Calisle S. Dean of Seattle WA.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 8th 3:30 PM at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home,10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ 08050
Calling hours will be from 2:PM until the time of services, at 3:30PM at the Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to either the Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, Carmel CA. or the Pop Corn Park Zoo, Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731.
