Brian Orlando

May 31, 1976June 3, 2019

Brian Orlando, 43, of Barnegat, NJ passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019.

He was predeceased by his father, Angelo.

Brian is survived by his cherished children, Jadyn, Leah and Matthew, “The Love of his Life”,Jenna, and her children, Dylan, Tyler and Olivia Carll. He is also survived by his beloved mother Susan and his brother Frank.

He was a Manager for 10 years at Nardi’s on Long Beach Island, and just recently, he began a new position at the Borgata Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.

The kindest words that were spoken of him while he worked at Nardi’s were: “For everyone he opened the door for; he also opened his heart.”

Brian adored his mother, there was not a week that went by that he didn’t call her. He was a devoted father, his children were his world. He enjoyed every moment he spent with them, watching them grow. Every day, they made him proud.

He also started to become an avid homeowner. He took care of the lawn, renovated two bathrooms, and learned to fix countless things in the home that he and Jenna shared. He even got his first tool chest on this past birthday, which he couldn’t wait to use.

He was a die-hard New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboy fan and was able to go see them both play several times. He enjoyed playing slots at the Golden Nugget and always felt his next trip down there he would hit the Big One.

He was a special person and will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 10,2019 from 4:00pm-6:00 pmatthe Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin,NJ

I can’t believe that this is true! I can’t wrap my head around the fact that you are gone...it seems like just yesterday we were kids at your house in Paramus. I have such great memories of our families being together there. Without a doubt you and I were closer than any of the other cousins...somewhere in life our paths took different turns and I wholeheartedly regret losing touch with you. My heart goes out to your beautiful children, Frankie, Aunt Susie and the rest of the family! Rest easy cuz...

Brian...my old friend. We grew up together, in Paramus...then really grew up down the shore....We shared many laugh together...my Senior Prom date at Paramus that was kinda your prom as well...Summer days on the beach on Ryerson Lane with our brothers and moms, nights on the beach with our friends....teenage summers with all our friends together just hanging out all night. I have thought of you so many times over the years, all the fun our crew had...they were the best of times and there was no better way to come up....Thankful for your lifetime friendship and will always think fondly of you. Your family, your beautiful children are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sue&Frankie- love to you both in this incredibly hard time. Dougie and Mom are with me when I say- we are always here for you both.
