In Vietnam Charlie frequently heard the call :"Guns Up".  He always responded and served in an exemplary manner. He loved his family and was loyal to his friends.

Charlie responded to his last "Guns Up" on 18 Oct.,I miss him.

Charlie was a machine gunner 0331 who served with distinction with H company, 2/9,  3rd Marine Dividion in 1966-67. Charlie was an excellent Marine, great husband and father.  I will miss him. Semper Fi - Garrette
