Dear Lorraine and family.
Sending my thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
                   Sicerely, Kathy Cronin

Chuck was my supervisor at Fluor Daniel when I was just starting out in the industry. I'll always remember him for his infectious sense of humor and caring personality. He was a true mentor and friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with Chuck's family. May they know how much Chuck meant to everyone.

At the Guissepe’s with Great Grandparents

We meet Lorraine and Chuck many years ago at Christ our light, we shared many activities, RCIA, marriage partners, Mardi Gras dinners and so much more. We shared many cruises, visits, lunches and dinners. Rest in peace, with God, dear Chuck, love and miss you each day.

We are so sorry to hear about Chuck’s passing. We always enjoyed our time with Chuck and Lorraine. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

I am so very sorry to hear of Chuck’s passing. I got to know him and his wife when Chuck and I went through the RCIA process. He was a wonderful person and a man of deep faith. My heartfelt sympathies go out to Lorraine and their family.

My best friend, dear Chuck, miss you and love you forever.

My earliest memories of really knowing Chuck date back to our time at Drexel. I was a senior and Chuck, a freshman.

Occasionally we ran across each other at the Student Center. Chuck always came over to my group and fit right in with my senior classmates. He was so likable and funny. I think my friends liked him more than they liked me.

Sandy and I got to socialize with sweet Lorraine and Chuck over the years. They were a lovely match, definitely made in heaven. Both very smart, witty and kind.

Chuck was a visionary car guy and was always ahead of the curve, which I think is great.

Dear Chuck will live on forever through his wonderful sons (all three!).

With deepest love and sad regrets,

Bill and Sandy

The generosity of this guy has left an indelible mark on us and I'm sure so many more people across the globe.
Some examples ...
A few years ago during the Covid-related shut down of our trekking business in Papua New Guinea, Chuck willingly donated a significant sum of money so we could help our porters and their families who reside in the incredibly remote mountains of the Owen Stanley Range. To this day, those porters still thank us for that monetary assistance during a desperate time.
In 2022, we were visiting the USA and both Chuck and Lorraine drove from the Shore to Philadelphia, collected us and then drove us back to their beautiful home where they hosted us for three awesome days. I think his proudest moment was showing off the pick up power of his Tesla as he roared across the bridge to LBI !! 🤣
Following this, Chuck then arranged our train tickets and transfer to the station as we made our way to visit Chad and Valentina in Washington DC.
We often exchanged on-line messages and spoke about everything from family to football to politics and everything in-between.
Our heart aches for Lorraine and her boys.
We are better off for having known Chuck and no doubt his legacy has stretched far and wide.
You were a great bloke and we are proud to have called you a friend.
Lots of love to the family,
Travis & Eden.

Jim Carrey once said: Grief is not just an emotion—it’s an unraveling, a space where something once lived but is now gone. It carves through you, leaving a hollow ache where love once resided.

In the beginning, it feels unbearable, like a wound that will never close. But over time, the raw edges begin to mend. The pain softens, but the imprint remains—a quiet reminder of what once was. The truth is, you never truly "move on." You move with it. The love you had does not disappear; it transforms. It lingers in the echoes of laughter, in the warmth of old memories, in the silent moments where you still reach for what is no longer there. And that’s okay.

Grief is not a burden to be hidden. It is not a weakness to be ashamed of. It is the deepest proof that love existed, that something beautiful once touched your life. So let yourself feel it. Let yourself mourn. Let yourself remember.

There is no timeline, no “right” way to grieve. Some days will be heavy, and some will feel lighter. Some moments will bring unexpected waves of sadness, while others will fill you with gratitude for the love you were lucky enough to experience.

Honor your grief, for it is sacred. It is a testament to the depth of your heart. And in time, through the pain, you will find healing—not because you have forgotten, but because you have learned how to carry both love and loss together.

Chuck was a great friend of mine for 50 years. We first met at Gilbert Associates in Reading, PA, where we worked as engineers. We shared a common interest in fishing and fished together many times in PA, NJ, NY, SC, and Canada. On the Canadian trip to Camp Walleye in Arden, ONT, our group included Craig Heister (friend from work), Chuck and Chuck’s dad, and me and my dad. My wife, Carol, and Lorraine also became fast friends. On multiple occasions Chuck and Lorraine visited us here in Garden City/Murrells Inlet, SC, and Carol and I visited Chuck and Lorraine in Manahawkin, NJ, to attend Atlantic City Boat Shows.
Lorraine called yesterday (the 14th) with the sad news. I told her that Chuck had just called me that Saturday on his way to Cherry Hill. He was proud of his Tesla 's self-driving feature and hadn’t touched the wheel since he left home. He was so happy, looking forward to spending the weekend with family.
Last evening I went to our church here in Garden City for Stations of the Cross. One reading struck me very emotionally. It was from Sirach, Chapter 6, Verses 14 to 17:
Faithful friends are a sturdy shelter;
whoever finds one finds a treasure.
Faithful friends are beyond price,
no amount can balance their worth.
Faithful friends are life-saving medicine;
those who fear God will find them.
Those who fear the Lord enjoy stable friendship,
for as they are, so will their neighbors be.
That perfectly described Chuck.
I am Ukrainian Catholic, where the funeral service is called Panakhyda, in which the final prayer is particularly touching:
In blessed sleep grant eternal rest, O Lord, to your ever-to-be-remembered servant (Chuck), and make his memory everlasting. Vichnaya Pamyat (Everlasting Memory).
Goodbye, dear friend. With certainty we will meet again.

Chuck was a great friend and neighbor. We first met Chuck when we bought our family vacation home in Beach Haven West directly across the lagoon from the Corson family. Chuck made our family very welcome and even took my husband Sal & oldest son Dom on their very first striper fishing trip! Great memories!
Rest in peace Chuck. You will be missed.

Oh Lorraine, my heart goes out to you. Chuck gave you 55 years, best of his life I’m sure. We say until death do we part, we just don’t know which one will part first. Tony and I planned to grow old together and we did but when he died I realized he got to live his whole life with me but I didn’t get to live my whole life with him. It’s not easy and life is different now but hold on to your family which you raised with Chuck. Let those memories carry you and give you peace. Stay strong, my friend.

Gabriella (Gay) McCleary
my dear friend you are in my thoughts and prayers. We worked together for many years and I know what a strong person you are. God be with you during this difficult time.

What a wonderful man, I can't express enough how I was honored to have known him and enjoy much laughter and create good memories with Lorraine and our circle of friends. God rest and may God take care of your family at this time.

Chuck and I have known each other it seems most of my life. We were in Boy Scouts together and paled around as kids. After High School our lives went different directions and now that we were old men we had just reconnected and then this. Rest in peace old friend . I’ll see you again.

I had the pleasure to work with Chuck for several years. He was always a fair and honest person and a true friend. Chuck, you will be missed...RIP.

So sorry for the family’s loss. Chuck always made a workday shorter with his jokes and laughter. He will be missed.

I worked with Chuck at Fluor Daniel in Marlton, NJ from 1990-1997. He was a kind, considerate man and an excellent supervisor. We worked together on a number of challenging projects and I always admired and respected Chuck. He was a really good guy.

While I didn't know Mr. Corson personally, I have worked with his son Chad for the last several years. The best testament to a father is the legacy he leaves through his children. The Corson family should be comforted by the character of Chad. I know that he will miss him dearly.

Chuck was my brother. We grew up together, playing, wrestling, laughing, crying, talking, singing, fishing, vacationing, swimming, skating, biking, dancing, dining, drinking, and so much more. Through it all, we shared memories and moments that will remain with me forever.
His memory will live on in my heart.
Rest in peace, Chuck. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Your loving brother,
Lane
