Colleen B Murta

Surviving Colleen is her devoted mother, Kathleen Reinsel; her brother, Raymond Murta, III, and his wife, Danielle; her niece and nephew, Olivia and Joseph; along with numerous family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Murta, Jr. in 1993; and her stepfather, Eugene J. Reinsel in 2021.

Born in Abington, Pennsylvania, and raised in Washington Township NJ, Colleen spent most of her life in New Jersey. After attending Washington Township High School, she earned her degree from Rutgers University and completed a year at Widener Law School in Delaware. Colleen later worked closely with her mother in real estate.

Throughout her life, Colleen faced many challenges with unwavering perseverance, embodying both resilience and strength. Her journey, marked by both physical and mental trials, showcased her indomitable spirit. As we mourn her passing, we take comfort in believing that Colleen has found peace in the embrace of her dearly departed loved ones.

A memorial Mass to celebrate Colleen's life will be held at St. Mary of the Pines RC Church in Manahawkin at 12PM on Thursday, March 21.
