Colleen Phillips

October 10, 1925-April 24, 2017

Colleen Catherine Phillips, 91, of Manahawkin, passed away peacefully at home on April 24, 2017.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 25 years, Joseph, her parents, Joseph M. and Elizabeth Johnson, and her sister, Elizabeth Mancuso.

Colleen is survived by her two sons and their spouses: Martin R. Titus (Maria) of Lanoka Harbor, NJ and Kevin P. Titus (MaryAnn) of St. Petersburg, FL. She is the beloved grandmother of Brenda, Michelle and Michael and great grandmother to Matthew, Cherie, Joseph, Jeremy, Jacob, and Alexander. She is also survived by her twin sister, Eileen, two nieces and a nephew.

Colleen was born in Schenectady, NY and grew up in Union, NJ. She loved spending summers swimming and boating on Lake Hopatcong. She moved to Manahawkin in 1978. She enjoyed singing, dancing, camping and sailing on Barnegat Bay with the love of her life, Joe. Her greatest joy was time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The last years of her life were spent with her trusted companions and caregivers, Valerie and Janet to whom the family will be forever grateful.

Remembering Through Giving

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, 100 Bishop Way, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin.
