Connie and I were classmates at St. John's and fellow members of what was then the Gaelic Club. Although we lost touch after leaving the college. I remember him as a vivacious soul with a positivr outlook and a keen sens of humor. I imagine all those qualities will be missed by those who knew him, but he's in a better place.

We first met Conny 20 years ago on our first visit to 26 th street with our children Padraig and Ciaran on a trip to see my Uncle Sean O'Neill . Conny was the first neighbor to embrace us like a warm overcoat .we we're invited for breakfast, dinner and drinks on several occasions and treated so well by Conny and Sue . ( He even had the Irish drink Poiteen😅). From that first meeting every time we travelled from Ireland Conny had the Irish flag flying from his deck to welcome us.
Conny was a true gentleman..full of mischievous humour and always had an Irish twinkle in his eye .
If anything needed mending in Uncle Sean's... just had to ask Conny . He would appear with hammer, string, tacks, sellotape,.whatever was needed .a man of such talents .
Conny .....we will miss you so much ..
26th Street in Barnegat Light will never be the same again .....
May your very gentle soul rest in peace.
Your Irish friends ....

Pat,Ann, Padraig and Ciaran .

Dear Sue,
So sorry to hear of Conny's passing. Although Jim and I have only known him a short time through BHYC, he was always very welcoming and friendly toward us. We hope wonderful memories will help you and your family through this most difficult time of grief.
