Don was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, he also resided in Queens, NY before moving to Lacey Township, NJ. In 2005.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Dora (Russell) DeCaro. Don is survived by his wife of 44 years, Theresa, his son and his wife, Thomas and Teresa DeCaro and his son Robert DeCaro, his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Dennis Ippolito. He is survived by his loving grandchildren, Sophia and Isabella.
Don worked for Con-Edison for 33 years. He was a Radiological Officer with the Stafford Township. He enjoyed cooking, woodworking, kayaking, and fishing, and was a member of the Village Harbor Fishing Club. Above all, Don was family oriented and loved the times spent with his precious granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Stafford Township First Aid Squad.
