Eleanor C. Minetti

Eleanor Pfeil Minetti, a longtime resident of Rahway, N.J., and Manahawkin N.J., who was born Oct. 28, 1923, and married Michael Minetti on Aug. 30, 1952, passed away peacefully on Aug. 16, 2013, after a long illness. The viewing and service will be at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, N.J., on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Hollywood Cemetery in Union, N.J. Mrs. Minetti is survived by daughters, Terri Minetti Armstrong and Karen Minetti; son-in-law, Robert Armstrong; grandchildren, Michael and Lori Armstrong, Danielle and Michael Kanuk, and Kristen Armstrong, and great-grandchildren, Jack and Nicholas Armstrong. Eleanor was a proud member of the Pioneer Club for 80 years. She worked for Auto Car and Wells Fargo Bank, where she retired in 1986. Eleanor enjoyed her loving family and friends, music, and swimming. She was an active member of Ocean Community Church in Manahawkin. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Tel Hai Retirement Community in Honey Brook, Pa., where Eleanor resided during the last few years of her life.
