Eugene J. “Gino” Brennan, 71, formerly of Woodbridge, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012 with his family by his side. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Gino lived in Woodbridge for many years before moving to Manahawkin in 2004. He was a 1957 graduate of Woodbridge High School and a former United States Marine. He was with Platoon 219, 3rd battalion, during recruit training and served in Okinawa and North Carolina during his service and loved everything about the Marine Corps. He was employed by Anheuser Busch from 1965 until his retirement in 2000 at the Newark, NJ brewery where he reached the level of Assistant Brewmaster. He was also a member of the Master Brewers Association of the Americas. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Gino is predeceased by his father, James Brennan, and his mother, Julia (Leonard) Brennan. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, SueAnn (Gabriel) Brennan; his daughter, Kelly, and son in law, Manuel Santiago, his daughter Lisa, and son in law, Raymond Lubeski; his Grandchildren, Manuel, Raymond, Madison, Alejandro, Giovanni, and Christopher. He is also survived by his sister Catherine Brennan. Thos L Shinn Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements
