Our family wanted to share a warm Happy St. Patrick's Day to our  Uncle/Great Uncle Frank and the entire McBride family. We know that Uncle Frank was a very proud and lovable Irishman and we came across an Irish poem that reminded our family of Uncle Frank and how wonderful he was. It reminded us of the lovely pictures that Aunt Franny placed on this site for everyone to remember him by. We hope that the McBride family enjoys this poem as much as we did and it reminds them of their beloved Frank. 


                                                                                 IRISH POEM

1) I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun; of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

Thanks Uncle Frank for being such a happy light in everyone's life- With Love, your neice Teri and great neices and nephew Sheena, Tiffany and Stormie Rogers.

Dear Frank,

It has been a year now since you have passed and you are missed deeply by everyone who has had the fortune of knowing you. There is no more suffering, sickness or hurting; you are with your parents and your siblings and God has taken you into his arms and is taking care of you now. I know Fran is missing you more than she lets anyone know, as does your daughter Catherine and grandsons Brenden and Ryan; but your loving memory glows bright in their hearts keeping them strong.
 May you Rest In Peace now brother-in-law.

Dear Uncle Frank,

I can not believe that it has been a year since you have passed. My memories of you, were that you were always such a wonderful man full of love, joy and laughter. You were always such a blessing to be around because you were so genuinely kind and loving, making everyone that was around you feel truly welcomed. I wanted to say "Thank you" to you Uncle Frank because no matter what was happening in my life you always made me feel welcomed and accepted without judgements. Your love and kindness towards my family I am grateful for, in which all of these memories will always be cherished.

Dear Great Uncle Frank,

We wanted to give our love and condolences to you and the family. The last time I believe we saw you it was around 13 or 14 years ago at our Aunt Leslie's house. You and Great Aunt Franny, along with many other family members were there. You were so kind to us. We may not remember much from that visit but you had a warm and loving hug for each of us, that none of us will ever forget.  Pictures can say so many things and as we looked at the pictures that were posted here of you Great Unlce Frank, we can see the overwhelming love and light that shines off of your face. Our mother Teri told us all about your kindness, love and laughter that you showed us when we were much younger - Thank you so much for that, from the bottom of our hearts we truely Thank you. We are so sorry that we never had the true privilage of knowing you, a man who proudly served his country, who honored his heritage and loved his family dearly. All those things can be seen in your eyes in those beautiful pictures.  You seem like such a wonderful man. But for now, with our precious memory of you along with  the overwhelming light we felt from those pictures we've seen, we will hold on to you as a tender memory in our hearts and maybe when we all reunite some day in heaven we can finally return the loving kindness you've shown with a big warm hug from each of  us.
