

Frank Friedhoff III, age 81, of Surf City, Long Beach Island NJ died Friday December 25th following complications of a heart attack at Hackensack Meridian Shore Memorial Hospital. Frank was born on December 23rd 1939 in Paterson NJ.
He attended St Mary’s high school in Paterson NJ, served in the New Jersey Army National Guard and was a skilled carpenter who ascended through the ranks of general contractors and ultimately supervised multiple large-scale office, warehouse and hospital construction projects throughout the state of New Jersey. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and an active parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church in Oakland NJ and Saint Francis RC Church on Long Beach Island, NJ.
He was an avid sailor, boater, and craftsman beloved by his wife, children and grandchildren and will always be remembered as a kind, thoughtful, loving and purpose-driven man whose values were epitomized by how he lived his life.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Isabel Friedhoff, son Michael and daughter in law Bobbie Friedhoff of Flemington NJ, son Stephen Friedhoff of New Hope PA, and grandchildren Julia, Erica, Justin, Melissa and Emily.

Due to the current pandemic and in the interest of protecting Frank’s friends and family, a memorial service will be deferred until Friday June 25th at 10am and held at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Long Beach Island NJ.
